On a different note . . . wasn't Kate breathtaking? I think she looked absolutely GORGEOUS.

Here's one thing I don't get though. The hats. Seriously, the HATS!!!!! I like wearing a hat occasionally, and granted my personal style is probably rather understated. Which is why I just can't fathom why one would wear something like this:

Did you catch that? What in the world?!!!! Take another look:

Here's another one you'd never, ever catch me in :)

As they say, variety is the spice of life!!!

Haha I had the same thought - they'll show it for the next 10 years (c'mon, how much do we STILL see of Charles & Diana?) - I was not about to get up early just to watch it.
I did read, however, that the invitation asked the guests to wear hats. So that's why there were so many hats...why there were so many hideous hats - now, that's another story entirely :)
I agree though, I thought she looked beautiful. I read somewhere before that she would probably wear a long sleeved gown - which normally I HATE - but she pulled it off...it looked both classically elegant and modern chic. She's gorgeous.
I was SO caught up in it that morning - they just seemed so happy and almost giddy. It's so fun to witness that kind of excitement on a wedding day.
In other news...yes, she was breathtaking. Though Shay might tease you for saying that. I should know. ;)
